Computers:
The first computer invented:
When most people think of the first computer invented, they think of Bill Gates. However, this is not true because the computer was invented long before Bill Gates appeared. Bill Gates just revolutionized the computer, buy a more compact and useful form of the computer and make it available to everyone who works.
There are many who would say that the first “computer” was the abacus, invented in Asia about 5,000 years ago. I wouldn’t, though.
The first of the “modern” computers was invented during the Second World War, in 1941, by a German engineer named Konrad Zuse. It was called Z3 and was used to design German aircraft and missiles. Then in 1943, the Allied forces developed a computer called Colossus. Helped to decode German messages.
The Mark I, designed by Howard H. Aiken, an engineer with Harvard and IBM. The Mark I was positively huge, taking up half a football field. It was useful and helped produce ballistic maps for the US Navy during the war.
Soon after, the Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer (ENIAC) appeared, developed by John Presper Eckert and John W. Mauchly in collaboration with the government and the University of Pennsylvania. The ENIAC was about 1,000 times faster than The Mark I, but no smarter.
Using transistors, using computers that can store memory and even run programs. Shortly after computer languages were invented so that people could modify the programs that the computer ran. Eventually, computer research brought us smaller, more useful computers, and eventually the computers we have today.
The first laptops invented:
Although it is somewhat difficult to determine what the first portable or laptop computer was and when it was invented, we can say that laptops have several claims to fame. Even in 1979, there were signs of laptops. It was designed by a Briton named William Moggridge for use by NASA in the early 1980s. In terms of IT performance, it weighed one-fifth the weight of any model and was a laptop with 340,000 bytes of bubble memory, a cast magnesium body and a folding electroluminescent graphics display.
Since then, notebook PCs released in 1981 have been among the first. The Epson HX-20, a battery-powered portable computer with a 20-character x 4-line LCD display and built-in printer, started a new widespread desire for these laptops.
In January 1982, Microsoft’s Kazuhiko Nishi and Bill Gates begin discussions about designing a portable computer based on the use of a new liquid crystal display, or LCD screen. LCD technology in 1982? Yes, that’s true! Believe it or not, we had the technology to make LCD TVs and monitors that you only recently saw, over 22 years ago. But that’s another story in itself.
The first PDAs invented:
First of all, PDA stands for Personal Digital Assistants if you didn’t already know. In 1993, Apple Computer Inc. released the very first PDA (personal digital assistant), “The Newton®”. Over the next three years, PDA sales declined and almost fell off the charts. Then, in March 1996, Palm(TM, Inc.) delivered the industry’s first truly impressive handheld computer, the PalmPilot. There are many PDA companies and products to mention these days.
Some things you can do with a PDA:

Home Entertainment Technology:

Invention of the first television:
The first signs of the telescope date back to 1862, when Abbe Giovanna Caselli invented her “pantelegraph” and became the first person to transmit still images over wires. In 1900, the 1st International Electricity Congress was held at the World Exhibition in Paris, where the Russian Konstantin Persky used the word “television” for the first time. In 1930, Charles Jenkins broadcasts the first TV commercial. The BBC begins regular TV broadcasts.
Then, over the years, inventions came one after the other. In 1950, the FCC approved the first color television standard, which was replaced by a second in 1953. Vladimir Zworykin developed a better camera tube – the Vidicon. In 1956, Robert Adler invents the first practical remote control. In 1973, giant screen TVs appeared for the first time. Subsequently, Sony released the first home video recorder in 1976. By 1996, there were already one billion TV sets worldwide.
The first DVD/player invented:
We can only assume that the transition from CDs and CD players to DVDs and DVD players was not that difficult. The technology was already there for them. So the dvd player must have been invented before or right after the invention of the dvd. DVDs are the work of many companies and many people. DVD evolved from CD and related technologies. Sony, Philips, Toshiba, Matsushita, Time Warner and others announced the new “high density” DVD in September 1995.
