There is a huge difference between actually creating the life you want and not reacting to what life throws your way. When you stop and take a really good look at your world. Do you see a life of exciting and endless possibilities, or rather a path of broken dreams?

It may be hard for you to believe, but you and only you can make your life a paradise. Life can present you with never-ending choices or constant roadblocks that stop you no matter where you turn.

If you are reading this article, you may be looking for the path that will lead you to the realization of all your dreams. The one(s) you see others creating but can’t seem to get there. You may have been there, but you can’t seem to stay there.

The most important thing to know about creating the life you want is that you have this ability and always have. There is no need to search for this ability or think it is out of your reach. All you have to do is recognize it in yourself.

Negative thinking

Let’s look at your first thoughts this morning. what did you think when you woke up? Do you know what your first thought was? Really stop here for a minute and think back to that first thought. It was, “Do I feel tired?” Or “It’s a gorgeous day!” Suppose you thought, “I feel tired.” This thought leads to the thought, “Why am I getting up so early? I should be sleeping.” And the next thought might be, I can’t believe I have to go back to work.”

The other side of this thinking

Now let’s try the other side. You are the person who woke up saying “It’s a wonderful day!” Your next thought might be. “I’m excited to get up and go.” “I have so many new ideas that I can’t wait to get to the office or start my work to make them happen.”

This is where the creation begins. The important thing here is to notice what you are saying to yourself. Right now, at this starting point, it really doesn’t matter what you say, just that you know what you’re saying.

If you’re not aware of what you’re saying to yourself, you might wonder why some days are good and others aren’t. You basically let the sun rule. You do not make the creation to which you respond.

If you start your day by saying anything negative, it’s likely to get out of hand, and it probably will. Even if it’s something small, like cleaning my house, it’s still a mess.

As soon as this thought pattern starts to appear, it will run away from you.

“I barely have time to brush my teeth, how do I clean the house?”…”well, if you made more money, you could hire a maid”…etc.

You probably don’t even know you’re having these thoughts, let alone that it creates a massive avalanche and is now running away with your day, right down the dead end hill.


Self-awareness is an important factor!

Over the next few days, start noticing what you say to yourself, not just in the morning, but throughout the day. When I first tried this exorcism I was shocked to find out what I had been telling myself all day. No wonder I failed, I was so hard on myself that around noon I felt like packing!

When creating it, you need to know what you require. The first thing I did was to notice what I was saying to myself throughout the day, as if I were an observer simply observing.

I discovered that when I make a mistake, I want to go, “How could I?” “I didn’t know this was going to happen?” I even had the courage to tell myself: I told you not to do it. It was really crazy.

That would take too long. I thought I didn’t hear myself the first time? Apparently not, I was going to continue this rant until I was sure it would never happen again. By the way, it’s extremely exhausting.

This constant badgering would be enough to put anyone in a bad mood. As I paid more attention to what I was saying, I realized that the tone I was using about myself was harsh and it seemed like I was yelling a lot. I wouldn’t dream of talking to a friend like that, so why was I talking to myself like that?

It’s a great question, “Why am I talking to myself like this?” Now that I was aware of what was happening, I was able to change it.

Most people are aware of and aware of this voice, whether they call it their critical parent, the Gremlin, or their ego. Every now and then I have a client who doesn’t even realize what he’s saying to himself. Yet they are very hard on themselves or look at the world through mud-colored glasses. This is a sign that your inner critic is speaking and not telling you how amazing you are.

If it takes too long, and usually five or six thoughts are too long, now you’re caught in the emotion of negative self-talk. It’s harder to come back from that place than if you never let it take you in the first place. This requires full attention.

By paying attention, you can catch critical self-talk in the beginning.

Start the first thing in the morning, you create the day

The morning is the most important time when you start shaping your day with the thoughts that inspire and motivate you. Don’t wait for something to happen that can set the mood for the day. You set the tone of your day!
If you burn the toast and say, “It’s going to be that kind of day,” you’re right that it’s going to be “that kind of day.” Instead, if you started the morning with positive thoughts and actions, even if the toast is burnt, you will not think otherwise, the toast is burnt, I have to put in another piece of bread.

Great ways to start the day

If you’re not a morning person and wake up in a less than cheerful mood, I understand that I felt the same way sometimes. Morning is now my favorite time. I’m so excited to get up every day I can’t wait. The sooner the better! I love how calm and peaceful it is. I can easily fit in my meditation and reading before starting the day.

I know how important it is to start the day off right. If I felt bad when I woke up, I would do something that would make me laugh. Something a little silly, but then makes you laugh again, which releases positive endorphins that send signals to the brain that make you feel good.

The Wake Up Call

I will share with you what I did. Don’t laugh, just try to imagine this. Okay, you can laugh…JI would start low and build up to a loud scream and I’d say at the top of my lungs “GOOOOOOOD MOOOOORNING VIEEEEEEITNAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!!!!” I did this so earnestly and loudly that it cracked me up every time. And let me tell you, if anyone else was around and heard this…they started laughing too and before you know it…I’m feeling good, they’re feeling good, it’s all good!

Another great way to start your day is to turn on some upbeat music. You know the music that really makes you want to dance. It should be music that makes you feel great about life. Perfect music for the morning.

If you feel like dancing and singing, do it. There, in the bedroom or bathroom, start dancing and moving to the music. Be silly and really let go.

Not only does it improve your mood and release positive endorphins, but it can also be fun for anyone else who sees it.

They create an energy and brightness that starts the day off on the right track.

I like to start my day by reading an excerpt from what I call my morning books. Always, always, always…positive, spiritual and uplifting books. The kind that really moves me. When I read them, every second sentence out of my mouth is “of course”, “I knew that!” “I love!”, “exactly” such books.

I can’t tell you how important this is when creating the life you want. Part of the creative process is a great foundation to build on. What you listen to, read and watch every day sets the tone for what you will experience.

By taking the creative stance, you are in charge of what comes to mind. If you start your day listening to the news and about war, violence, the next tragedy, who is the thinnest, who is the most beautiful and who is going to jail now and for how long…etc. It will affect you, and probably in a less than positive way.

On the flip side, when you listen to uplifting music, you read books that uplift and inspire you. You have a funny saying that makes me laugh. You pay attention to what you say to yourself and replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Just imagine what kind of day you will have. You sing and dance with this much positive energy.
